Balance ToysOur balance toys are totally handcrafted from recycled metal, hand forged, painted and hand waxed to a warm and subtle shine.
Balance toys were originally called skyhooks, simple counter-weighted toys which could be set on a shelf or the rim of a table, and set in motion to everyone’s delight and amazement.
Articulated balance toys are more popular. Some balance toys come with a “designer” stand integrating it into the overall appearance. The floor stand broadens the scope of this colorful home decor. The design is based on an antique renaissance candle stand. It is hand wrought in iron, distressed, and hand waxed.
