Made of fine cherry and birch finished with a red french finish. Then completed with campaign style brass hardware.

About our red french finish.

This table is finished in what is known as French finish, a highly labor intensive series of treatments and coatings resulting in an aged, translucent, and tactile finish. At least five coats of varnish are applied to each piece of furniture, with
sanding and rubbing in between. The idea is to not completely cover the existing wood grain, but to create a rich coat, that together with applications of subtle patinas and finally specially mixed waxes, results in an aged,
lived-in look.
Actual colors may vary. The natural wood color, the finesse of grain, the age of the wood, and other factors may influence final result. After all, every piece of our collection is completely handmade, hand-assembled, and finished by skilled craftsmen.
