Large Marble On Stand 60mm. No.1

 
This is a large hand blown glass marble measuring 60mm, or 2 3/8 inches across. Displayed on a 2 1/2 inch Mahogany stand.
Exquisite double helix treads run through the glass. These are handmade and no two are exactly alike.
Comes beautifully packaged with the following inscription on the inside of the box.

Aspire to trace the bands of color
Transparent universe once
crystal clear, A miracle made
burning hot then cool and cold.
A master's craft, contained
Therein A depth, evocative of
memories of my youthful past
